This cozy kedai, with its welcoming ambiance and rich history spanning over 30 years, provides an authentic experience that's hard to match. Whether you’re starting your day or seeking a relaxing afternoon respite, Sudi Mampir creates the perfect backdrop for enjoying a hearty meal or a refreshing cup of coffee.

The café specializes in beloved local dishes, making it a top choice for food enthusiasts. Among its standout offerings is the seafood laksa, celebrated for its vibrant, flavorful broth brimming with freshness—an aspect highlighted by returning customers like Stef Y., who praise not just the taste but the comforting feel that makes it reminiscent of home-cooked meals. For seafood lovers, the seafood curry meehoon is an absolute must-try, delivering a savory experience that's both rich in flavor and invigorating.

Another gem on the menu is the homemade kaya roti, a breakfast staple that has captured the hearts of many, including long-time patrons like Corrine Zeng. It pairs perfectly with a refreshing cup of their expertly brewed coffee, creating a nostalgic breakfast experience you won’t forget.

Diners can expect a clean and well-ventilated environment, ideal for savoring a meal. The swift service at Sudi Mampir adds to the overall pleasant experience, making it a reliable choice for those in search of a quick yet fulfilling breakfast or a leisurely lunch with friends. As Dennis Lee noted, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for the usual staples of Indonesian breakfast like nasi lemak and mee rebus.

While some dishes like the seafood Indomie might come with a higher price tag, the consensus is clear—Sudi Mampir ensures quality ingredients that speak volumes, particularly the freshness of the seafood. For anyone exploring Batam City, visiting Sudi Mampir Kedai Kopi is not just about the food; it's about immersing yourself in the warmth of local culture, one delicious bite at a time.

This was our second visit, and we are happy to say the quality is still just as good as the first time! The seafood laksa is fresh and flavorful, with a rich, satisfying broth that stands out. We also tried the Hokkien fish soup. It is incredibly hearty and comforting, just like a home-cooked meal.
